History/Provenance: Owned by current rider for 28 years – used to carry owner through to several Ride Off’s and numerous Open Equitation classes. Was completely rebuild by Johan Ulvede 15 years ago so completely safe to jump/hunt in.

Rider & horse history with regards to fit: Rider: 5′ just – always rode in this saddle with a large queen. Leaping heads are generous for those with a little “curve” to the leg. Used on a variety of horses from medium build Warmblood (16.1hh) to thicker set Iberian stallion (15hh). Shims used as required but only occasionally necessary.

Detail of recent renovation/reflocking: Serge lining which has never been whitened. This saddle is not over flocked and as such allows shims to be inserted between lining and tree if necessary.

Any other information: Saddle has been stored away for last 4 years – last being used on an older WB mare of medium build with huge extravagant jump. It has seen both a senior rider and junior rider gain the Side Saddle Rider of the Year titles
